Red Skelton graced our television sets before some of us had color TV and before "One Nation UNDER GOD" was even a part of our pledge. Let's embrace his views and his magical way of bringing us back to the grass roots of just WHAT our Pledge of Allegiance means.
ISM'S...we all have some. Patriotism, Obamanism, Socialism, Marxism, WhatIfIsm, I'mGonnaBeOKism, and most especially CONSERVATISM :) This cartoon is 60 YEARS OLD. However, for like minded folk that believe in America, Conservatism, Republican philosophy, and the capitalism we so enjoy in a free market society that keeps us successful when allowed to flourish will see that this cartoon is as relevant today as it was when it was created 60 years ago.
